So many memories of THE rock palace. Saw as many big name acts that I was able to get to.There were times that it was difficult to come up with the $3.50, or $4.50 entry fee. As a teen living in Windsor, ON. sometimes had to take the Grand River bus to get there, never giving a second thought to getting home.
The Grande was the music, the people, celebrating being young & alive. Friday & Saturday nights of rock ‘n roll. Seeing the up & coming stars as they were becoming the legends of our rock world. Words really don’t fully express the sensory mix of lights, sound, smells, and feelings. Whatta trip!!!!!!!!!!!
