Knights of the Grande

 

The Knights of the Grande Benevolent,was a non-profit organization.  Formed in 2003 it was headed by Jeff Vail, formerly of the late Fred “Sonic” Smith’s Sonic’s Rendezvous Band, the group was dedicated to helping musicians from the 60’s and early 70’s, or their widows and children, who were in need of financial help.”  A number of shows were booked that featured several of the local acts and personalities that played the Grande.
